Start off your visit on the 16th (Tue): immerse yourself in nature at Golden Gate Canyon State Park, then take an in-depth tour of Golden History Museum & Park, then examine the collection at Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Mother Cabrini Shrine. Keep things going the next day: get engrossed in the history at Golden History Museum, then immerse yourself in nature at Staunton State Park, and then let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour.

Kick off your visit on the 18th (Thu): trek along Rabbit Mountain, then engage your brain at Butterfly Pavilion and Insect Center, and then browse the different shops at Pearl Street Mall.
