Phoenix is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. Boyce Thompson Arboretum and Casa Grande Ruins National Monument will appeal to history buffs. Museum-lovers will appreciate Desert Caballeros Western Museum and Children’s Museum of Phoenix. Take a break from Phoenix with a short trip to Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, about 40 minutes away. There's more to do: engage your brain at Arizona Science Center and take a stroll through Mill Avenue District.
