Portland to Sacramento is an approximately 10.5-hour combination of bus and flight. You can also fly; or drive. Drive from Sacramento to Yosemite National Park in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and taxi; or do a combination of train, bus, and taxi. Plan for slightly colder temperatures traveling from Sacramento in July, with highs in Yosemite National Park at 82°F and lows at 45°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 30th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to San Francisco.

Traveling by car from Yosemite National Park to San Francisco takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and bus; or do a combination of taxi, bus, flight, and subway. Traveling from Yosemite National Park in July, you will find days in San Francisco are little chillier (72°F), and nights are a bit warmer (57°F). On the 3rd (Fri), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel to Friday Harbor.

The tiny town of Friday Harbor is the largest village on the San Juan Islands, and it fits within just 2.6 km (1 sq mi) of space.
Start off your visit on the 4th (Sat): immerse yourself in nature at Lime Kiln Point State Park, then relax in the rural setting at Pelindaba Lavender Farm, and then head outdoors with Springtide Paddlesports. On your second day here, get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports and then head outdoors with The Schooner, Spike Africa, Friday Harbor, san Juan Islands.
