Tampa to St. George is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 2 hours traveling from Tampa to St. George. Traveling from Tampa in September, expect little chillier with lows of 64°F in St. George. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Wed) so you can drive to Kanab.

Kanab is a city in and the county seat of Kane County, Utah, United States. Start off your visit on the 13th (Thu): examine the collection at Little Hollywood Movie Museum, capture your vacation like a pro with an inspiring photography tour, and then look for gifts at Denny's Wigwam. On your second day here, admire the landmark architecture of Moqui Cave, then trek along Wire Pass Trail (Buckskin Gulch access), and then steep yourself in history at Old Paria.

You can drive from St. George to Kanab in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and taxi. Traveling from St. George in September, things will get a bit cooler in Kanab: highs are around 84°F and lows about 48°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 14th (Fri) to allow time to drive to Bryce Canyon National Park.

You can find hoodoos--rock pillars formed by erosion--all around the world, but those of Bryce Canyon National Park remain the standard bearers thanks to their bright red color, tall stature, and arrangement in large amphitheaters.

Visiting Queen's Garden Trail and Peek-A-Boo Loop will get you outdoors. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Kodachrome Basin State Park and Mossy Cave Trail. The adventure continues: make a trip to Natural Bridge and hike along Rim Trail.

You can drive from Kanab to Bryce Canyon National Park in 2 hours. Expect slightly colder temperatures when traveling from Kanab in September; daily highs in Bryce Canyon National Park reach 70°F and lows reach 40°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Mon) so you can drive to Moab.

Do some cultural sightseeing at Gallery Moab LCA and Tom Till Gallery. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Landscape Arch and Balanced Rock Trail. Venture out of the city with trips to Arches National Park (Turret Arch & Devils Garden Trailhead) and The Needles (in Canyonlands National Park). There's much more to do: admire all the interesting features of Colorado Riverway Recreation Area, stop by Gearheads Outdoor Store, tour the pleasant surroundings at Slickrock Bike Trail, and make a trip to Utah Scenic Byway 279 Rock Art Sites.
