For most visitors to this part of the world, the wild part of Alaska starts at Seward, a small port city that takes advantage of the region's natural beauty.
Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Mon): explore the wealth of natural beauty at Kenai Fjords National Park Visitor Center and then take an unforgettable tour with a helicopter tour. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: add some adventure to your tour with a kayaking and canoeing tour and then get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Alaska SeaLife Center.

Boston to Seward is an approximately 14- hour combination of flight and bus. You can also do a combination of train, flight, and bus; or drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 4 hours traveling from Boston to Seward. Traveling from Boston in November, expect Seward to be little chillier, temps between 3°C and -1°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 3rd (Tue) early enough to drive to Whittier.

Whittier is a city at the head of the Passage Canal in the U.S. College Fiord has been added to your itinerary. Start off your visit on the 4th (Wed): trek along Horsetail Falls Trail and then take in the dramatic natural features at College Fiord. On your second day here, get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports and then make a trip to Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel.
