Visiting Rim Trail and Hermit Trail will get you outdoors. Step off the beaten path and head to Yaki Point and Powell Point. On the 28th (Thu), hike the day away at Bright Angel Trail. Despite its relatively small size, Sedona overflows with tourist appeal.
Discover out-of-the-way places like V-Bar-V Heritage Site and Amitabha Stupa & Peace Park. Your inner history buff will appreciate Jerome State Historic Park and Tuzigoot National Monument. Take a break from Sedona with a short trip to Montezuma Well in Rimrock, about 40 minutes away. There's much more to do: hike along Doe Mountain Trail, look for gifts at Trailhead Tea, see the world from above with a helicopter tour, and wander the streets of Historic Old Town Cottonwood.

You can drive from Grand Canyon National Park to Sedona in 2.5 hours. When traveling from Grand Canyon National Park in March, plan for a bit warmer days in Sedona, with highs around 67°F, while nights are much warmer with lows around 45°F. You'll have a few hours on the 6th (Wed) to wrap things up before traveling home.
