Start off your visit on the 28th (Wed): steep yourself in history at Downtown Historic Area. Here are some ideas for day two: contemplate the long history of Yavapai County Courthouse Square, appreciate the extensive heritage of Whiskey Row, then view the masterpieces at Newman Gallery, then get engrossed in the history at Sharlot Hall Museum, and finally explore by horseback at Lynx Lake Recreation Area.

Salt Lake City to Prescott is an approximately 6-hour combination of flight and bus. You can also fly; or drive. In August, Prescott is little chillier than Salt Lake City - with highs of 86°F and lows of 61°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 29th (Thu) so you can go by car to Sedona.

Visiting Yavapai Point and North Kaibab Trail will get you outdoors. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Tusayan: Grand Canyon National Park (Bright Angel Point & Desert View Watchtower). You can drive from Sedona to Tusayan in 2.5 hours. Another option is to take a bus. When traveling from Sedona in September, plan for a bit cooler days and much colder nights in Tusayan: temperatures range from 75°F by day to 43°F at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 6th (Fri) so you can go by car to Page.

Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.
Navajo National Monument and Navajo Bridge are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Discover out-of-the-way places like Rainbow Bridge National Monument and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. There's lots more to do: explore the stunning scenery at Antelope Canyon, enjoy some diversion at Gunfighter Canyon, and surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour.
