Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.
Visit Bright Angel Point and Navajo Bridge for their historical value. Explore Page's surroundings by going to Grand Canyon National Park (Point Imperial Drive & Cape Royal). And it doesn't end there: explore the stunning scenery at Antelope Canyon, take in the dramatic natural features at Horseshoe Bend, get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour, and have fun at Gunfighter Canyon.

Tyler to Page is an approximately 8-hour combination of bus and flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and shuttle. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Tyler to Page. In July in Page, expect temperatures between 98°F during the day and 73°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Sun) to allow time to drive to Williams.

A tiny town with big tourist appeal, Williams lies on one of the first highways ever built in America, the iconic "Route 66." The town boasts many inns, motels, restaurants, and shops, although its most important feature is serving as the southern terminus of a scenic railway leading to the area's most famous tourist attraction, the World Heritage-listed Grand Canyon.

Getting from Page to Williams by car takes about 3.5 hours. Other options: take a bus; or do a combination of bus and train. Plan for little chillier temperatures traveling from Page in July, with highs in Williams at 81°F and lows at 56°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Thu) early enough to drive to Sedona.

On the 5th (Mon), indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas, tee off at Arizona Grand Golf Course, and then tee off at The Short Course at Mountain Shadows. Keep things going the next day: take a stroll through Old Town Scottsdale.

You can drive from Sedona to Scottsdale in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and flight; or take a bus. Traveling from Sedona in August, expect Scottsdale to be a bit warmer, temps between 105°F and 83°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 6th (Tue) to allow enough time to travel back home.
