Orlando — 3 nights

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Pack the 20th (Mon) with family-friendly diversions at Universal's Islands of Adventure. Have a day of magic on the 22nd (Wed) at Walt Disney World Resort. There's more to do: get in on the family fun at Universal Orlando Resort and discover the magic at Happily Ever After Fireworks.

Montreal, Canada to Orlando is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Plan for a bit warmer temperatures traveling from Montreal in June, with highs in Orlando at 38°C and lows at 26°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Wed) so you can fly to Marco Island.

A tiny city just 16 km (10 mi) long, Marathon is spread across several islands in the middle of the Florida Keys.
Kick off your visit on the 27th (Mon): discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, enjoy the sand and surf at Sombrero Beach, and then relax and rejuvenate at SpaTerre at Little Palm Island Resort. On the next day, see the interesting displays at Crane Point Museum & Nature Center, stroll through The Turtle Hospital, and then kick back and relax at Bahia Honda State Park.

On the 30th (Thu), tour the pleasant surroundings at Florida Keys Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center, discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and then observe the fascinating underwater world at Island Dolphin Care. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 1st (Fri): see the vivid underwater world at Spiegel Grove and then immerse yourself in nature at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park.
