Carmel-by-the-Sea, often simply called Carmel, is a city in Monterey County, California, United States, founded in 1902 and incorporated on October 31, 1916. Kick off your visit on the 31st (Mon): trek along Scenic Road Walkway, then immerse yourself in nature at Point Lobos, and then do a tasting at Wrath Tasting Room- Carmel. On the 1st (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: cruise along 17-Mile Drive, get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Monterey Bay Aquarium, and then stop by Bookshop Santa Cruz.
