Ka'anapali — 6 nights

Perched at the western tip of Maui, the tourist hub of Ka'anapali offers a range of resorts and activities revolving around the beach.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Lahaina Banyan Court. Take a break from Ka'anapali with a short trip to Karen Lei's Gallery in Kahakuloa, about 36 minutes away. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Kapalua Beach, explore and take pictures at North Loop Coastline Road Hwy 30, tour the pleasant surroundings at Black Rock Beach, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Sacred Hearts Mission Church.

Traveling by car from Huelo to Ka'anapali takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. In August in Ka'anapali, expect temperatures between 86°F during the day and 74°F at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 19th (Fri) so you can travel to Haleakala National Park.

Kōloa is an unincorporated census-designated place (CDP) in Kauai County, Hawaii, United States. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Koloa: Waimea (Koke'e Mountains & Waimea Canyon State Park). There's still lots to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Poipu Beach Park, see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, get a dose of the wild on Kauai Safaris, and kick back and relax at Lawa'i Beach.
