Munising is a city on the southern shore of Lake Superior on the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. Get outdoors at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and Munising Falls. Change things up with a short trip to Seney National Wildlife Refuge in Seney (about 1 hour away). Next up on the itinerary: take in the dramatic natural features at Miners Castle Rock, admire the sheer force of Wagner Falls, tour the pleasant surroundings at Sand Point Beach, and take in the pleasant sights at Autrain Falls.

Holland is a city in the western region of the Lower Peninsula of the U.S. Gilmore Car Museum and Fire Barn Museum will appeal to museum buffs. Relax by the water at Holland State Park Beach and Pere Marquette Park. Change things up with these side-trips from Holland: Silver Beach County Park (in Saint Joseph) and Silver Lake State Park Pedestrian Dune Access (in Hart). While traveling from Empire, expect a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Holland, ranging from highs of 81°F to lows of 61°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 16th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Dearborn.
