The glaciers from which Glacier National Park takes its name mostly dissipated eons ago, but they left behind a scoured landscape of high and steep mountain peaks, sparkling lakes, lush alpine meadows, and thick forests.
On the 22nd (Thu), hike the day away at Highline Trail. There's much more to do: explore and take pictures at Going-to-the-Sun Road, explore the activities along Lake McDonald, take some stellar pictures from Jackson Glacier Overlook, and hike along Avalanche Lake.

Orlando to Glacier National Park is an approximately 9-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time to Mountain Standard Time, which is usually a -2 hour difference.
