The glaciers from which Glacier National Park takes its name mostly dissipated eons ago, but they left behind a scoured landscape of high and steep mountain peaks, sparkling lakes, lush alpine meadows, and thick forests.
Get outdoors at Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park and Grinnell Glacier. There's lots more to do: admire all the interesting features of Going-to-the-Sun Road, take in the dramatic scenery at Virginia Falls, stroll through Iceberg Lake Trail, and hike along Highline Trail.

Great Falls is a city in and the county seat of Cascade County, Montana, United States. Start off your visit on the 6th (Sat): explore the world behind art at C.M. Russell Museum, then identify plant and animal life at Giant Springs State Park, then appreciate the extensive heritage of Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, and finally take an in-depth tour of Ursuline Centre. On the 7th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish, pause for some serene contemplation at St. Ann Cathedral, then hike along River's Edge Trail, and finally identify plant and animal life at First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park.

The town of West Yellowstone has served as a gateway to Yellowstone National Park since the early 1900s.
Take a break from the city and head to Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center and River Rafting & Tubing. Go for a jaunt from West Yellowstone to Big Sky to see Ousel Falls Trail about 1h 20 min away. The adventure continues: see what you can catch with a fishing tour, stop by Eagle's Store, have some family-friendly fun at Madison Avenue Old Time Photos, and browse the exhibits of Yellowstone Historic Center.
