Nantucket is an island about 30mi by ferry south from Cape Cod, in the American state of Massachusetts. You'll explore and learn at Whaling Museum and Egan Maritime's Nantucket Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Sankaty Head Lighthouse and Brant Point Lighthouse. There's lots more to do: kick back and relax at Jetties Beach, see the interesting displays at Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum, sample the fine beverages at Cisco Brewers, and stroll through Surfside Beach.

San Juan, Puerto Rico to Nantucket is an approximately 9-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and ferry; or do a combination of car and flight. The time zone changes from Atlantic Standard Time to Eastern Standard Time, which is usually a -1 hour difference. In July, Nantucket is a bit cooler than San Juan - with highs of 28°C and lows of 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Falmouth.

Falmouth is a town in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States; Barnstable County is coextensive with Cape Cod. Start off your visit on the 12th (Fri): take in the exciting artwork at McDermott Glass Studio, appreciate the history behind Plymouth Rock, then see the interesting displays at Heritage Museums & Gardens, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Old Silver Beach, and finally visit a coastal fixture at Nobska Point Lighthouse. On the 13th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the natural beauty at Highfield Hall & Gardens, get engrossed in the history at Plimoth Plantation, and then explore the landscape on two wheels at Shining Sea Bikeway.
