Get outdoors at Bushkill Falls and Sam's Point Preserve. Discover out-of-the-way places like Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum and Ground Zero Museum Workshop. When in New York City, make a side trip to see Shawangunk Grasslands National Wildlife Refuge in Wallkill, approximately 1h 40 min away. The capital of the United States, the District of Columbia contains the lion's share of the country's most treasured monuments, memorials, and public museums.
U.S. Naval Academy and National Air and Space Museum will appeal to museum buffs.
