More than just one of the nation's top business centers, Columbus is a mixture of many different parts of America, situated at the spot where the so-called "Bible Belt" meets the varied cultures of the Great Plains and Appalachia.
Start off your visit on the 19th (Sun): get a taste of the local shopping with Easton Town Center and then appreciate the extensive heritage of German Village. On your second day here, kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, explore the ancient world of Great Circle Earthworks, and then identify plant and animal life at Newark Earthworks.
