Olympia is the capital of the U.S. Get outdoors at Fort Stevens State Park and Priest Point Park. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Olympia: Olympic National Park (Kalaloch Beach Trail 4 & Murhut Falls), Washington State Fair (in Puyallup) and Northwest Trek Wildlife Park (in Eatonville). Palm Desert is a city in Riverside County, California, United States, in the Coachella Valley, approximately 14 miles (23 km) east of Palm Springs and 122 miles (196 km) east of Los Angeles. Get outdoors at Off-Road Tours and Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Explore Palm Desert's surroundings by going to Joshua Tree National Park (in Joshua Tree), Borrego Springs (California Overland Desert Excursions & Galleta Meadows) and Joshua Tree National Park (Hall of Horrors, Ryan Mountain, &more).
