Glendora is a city in the San Gabriel Valley in Los Angeles County, California, 23mi east of downtown Los Angeles. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Vasquez Rocks Natural Area and Civic Musical Road. Change things up with these side-trips from Glendora: Mt Baldy Road (in Mount Baldy), Rose Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary (in Whittier) and Mount Wilson Observatory (in La Canada Flintridge). There's still lots to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden, catch the contagious excitement of Santa Anita Race Park, see the interesting displays at Air Force Flight Test Museum, and stroll around Sgt.
