Heart of the Florida Keys
A tiny city just 16 km (10 mi) long, Marathon is spread across several islands in the middle of the Florida Keys.Kick off your visit on the 29th (Thu): stroll through Sombrero Beach, then look for all kinds of wild species at The Turtle Hospital, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Bahia Honda State Park. Keep things going the next day: identify plant and animal life at Dolphin Research Center and then cast your line with a fishing tour.

Tel Aviv, Israel to Marathon is an approximately 17.5-hour combination of flight and shuttle. The time zone difference when traveling from Tel Aviv to Marathon is minus 7 hours. Conch Republic
Located just 140 km (90 mi) from Cuba, Key West is an island only about 6.4 km (4 mi) long and 1.6 km (1 mi) wide.Get outdoors at Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory and The Overseas Highway. Truman Little White House and Audubon House & Tropical Gardens will appeal to history buffs. There's lots more to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, enjoy the sand and surf at Fort Zachary Taylor, discover the deep blue sea with Far Out Fishing Charters, and don't miss a visit to Duval Street.

The Hostess City of the South
Georgia's oldest city, Savannah displays its colonial history proudly on every corner.Savannah Historic District and Fort Pulaski National Monument will appeal to history buffs. Get some cultural insight at Tybee Island Lighthouse Museum and Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Venture out of the city with trips to Hilton Head (Dolphin & Whale Watching & Coligny Beach) and Tybee Island Beach (in Tybee Island). There's still lots to do: explore the different monuments and memorials at Bonaventure Cemetery.

You can fly from Key West to Savannah in 6 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of bus and train. Plan for little chillier temperatures traveling from Key West in April, with highs in Savannah at 29°C and lows at 16°C. On the 6th (Fri), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can drive to St. Augustine.
