Take a break from the city and head to Craigville Beach and Speed Boats Tours. Step off the beaten path and head to Captain Jackson’s Historic Chocolate Shop and the Printing Office of Edes and Gill and Photography Tours. There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Charlestown Navy Yard, admire the striking features of Marriott's Custom House, go for a walk through Commonwealth Avenue Mall, and pause for some serene contemplation at The First Church of Christ, Scientist.

On the 16th (Sat), kick back and relax at Footbridge Beach, explore the world behind art at Ogunquit Museum of American Art, stop by Harbor Candy Shop, then get a taste of the local shopping with Abacus, and finally view the masterpieces at PANACHE FINE JEWELRY AND ART GALLERY. Here are some ideas for day two: kick back and relax at Salisbury Beach State Reservation, then trek along Salisbury Rail Trail, then indulge your thirst for a good beer at Tributary Brewing, and finally take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Agamenticus.

You can drive from Ogunquit to Portland in an hour. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and train; or do a combination of bus and train.
