You can drive from St. George to Kanab in 1.5 hours. Another option is to take a shuttle. Plan for slightly colder temperatures traveling from St. George in April, with highs in Kanab at 24°C and lows at 1°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Sat) so you can drive to Monument Valley.
