Manchester — 2 nights

Manchester is a town in, and one of two shire towns (county seats) of, Bennington County, Vermont, United States. Escape the urban bustle at Lye Brook Falls and Jamaica State Park. Discover out-of-the-way places like Equinox Preservation Trust and Woodford State Park. Step out of Manchester to go to Londonderry and see Lowell Lake State Park, which is approximately 36 minutes away. There's much more to do: immerse yourself in nature at Emerald Lake State Park, browse the exhibits of Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home, and take in the awesome beauty at Equinox Mountain.
