Wake Forest — 3 nights

Wake Forest is a town in Franklin and Wake counties in the U.S. state of North Carolina; located almost entirely in Wake County, it lies just north of the state capital, Raleigh. Bring the kids along to Clayton River Walk and Clemmons Educational State Forest. And it doesn't end there: hike along Beaverdam Recreation Area, identify plant and animal life at Horseshoe Farms Nature Preserve, take a peaceful walk through Downtown Wake Forest, and sample the tasty concoctions at White Street Brewing Co..
