Drive from Washington DC to Gettysburg in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and taxi. In June, Gettysburg is slightly colder than Washington DC - with highs of 32°C and lows of 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Mon) so you can drive to Philadelphia.
