A major center for tourism and travel, Baltimore is famous as the city where amateur poet Francis Scott Key wrote the lyrics for the United States' national anthem.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Gettysburg Museum & Visitor Center and National Watch and Clock Museum. Gettysburg National Military Park and Ephrata Cloister are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore Baltimore's surroundings by going to Olio Olive Oils & Balsamics (in Lititz), Wheatland (in Lancaster) and Longwood Gardens (in Kennett Square). Next up on the itinerary: take a stroll through Kitchen Kettle Village, do a tasting at Saint Michaels Winery, hunt for treasures at The Green Dragon Farmer's Market, and look for gifts at The Old Country Store.
