Kick off your visit on the 24th (Sat): view the masterpieces at Glasshouse-Studio and then take a stroll through Pike Place Market. Here are some ideas for day two: examine the collection at The Museum of Flight, enjoy the sand and surf at Alki Beach, then explore the world behind art at Chihuly Garden and Glass, and finally take in panoramic vistas at Space Needle.

New York City to Seattle is an approximately 8.5-hour combination of bus and flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 3 hours traveling from New York City to Seattle. Traveling from New York City in March, plan for somewhat warmer nights in Seattle, with lows around 42°F. In Olympic National Park, ancient rainforests and ocean tidal pools at lower elevations contrast with wildflower-filled alpine meadows and snowcapped peaks.
Visiting Ruby Beach and Olympic National Park will get you outdoors. Change things up with a short trip to Quinault Big Spruce Tree in Quinault (about 1h 15 min away). There's still lots to do: explore the activities along Lake Cushman, hike along Hurricane Ridge, and cruise along Olympic Peninsula Loop Drive.
