Despite its relatively small size, Sedona overflows with tourist appeal.
Get some cultural insight at Chapel of the Holy Cross and Wupatki National Monument. Visiting Cathedral Rock and Red Rock Scenic Byway (SR 179) will get you outdoors. When in Sedona, make a side trip to see Walnut Canyon National Monument in Flagstaff, approximately Flagstaff away. Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.
Kick off your visit on the 25th (Mon): choose your vessel at Surf Lake Powell, take in the dramatic natural features at Horseshoe Bend, and then explore the stunning scenery at Antelope Canyon. Keep things going the next day: get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour.
