Big Sky is a census-designated place (CDP) in Gallatin and Madison counties in southwestern Montana. Kick off your visit on the 27th (Sun): hike along Ousel Falls Trail and then relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour.

Kalamazoo to Big Sky is an approximately 8-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 2 hours traveling from Kalamazoo to Big Sky. While traveling from Kalamazoo, expect little chillier days and colder nights in Big Sky, ranging from highs of 69°F to lows of 35°F. Take a break from the city and head to Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and Grand Prismatic Spring. Your inner history buff will appreciate Uncle Tom's Trail and Fort Yellowstone Historic District. You can drive from Big Sky to Yellowstone National Park in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of shuttle and taxi. In June in Yellowstone National Park, expect temperatures between 66°F during the day and 34°F at night. On the 10th (Sat), you'll have the morning to explore before heading back home.
