"The Capital of the Cape," Hyannis serves as Cape Cod's main transportation and commercial hub.
Venture out of the city with trips to Cape Cod Canal (in Buzzards Bay), Falmouth (Falmouth Museums on the Green, Shining Sea Bikeway, &more) and Chatham Marconi Maritime Center (in North Chatham). Next up on the itinerary: visit Main Street Hyannis, engage your brain at Sandwich Glass Museum, immerse yourself in nature at Nickerson State Park, and make a trip to Old King's Hwy.

Traveling from Sofia in February, things will get little chillier in Hyannis: highs are around 5°C and lows about -4°C. A small resort town with a year-round population of just 3,000, Provincetown draws nearly 60,000 annual visitors with its scenic beaches, art colonies, galleries, theaters, and shops.
Venture out of the city with trips to Eastham (Coast Guard Beach, Captain Penniman House, &more). The adventure continues: kick back and relax at Race Point Beach, take a leisurely stroll along MacMillan Wharf, tour the pleasant surroundings at Cape Cod National Seashore, and pause for some photo ops at Pilgrim Monument & Provincetown Museum.

You can drive from Hyannis to Provincetown in 1.5 hours. Another option is to take a bus. In February, plan for daily highs up to 3°C, and evening lows to -3°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Mon) so you can travel back home.
