On the 5th (Fri), hunt for treasures at Frenchmen Street, then get to know the fascinating history of Jackson Square, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Louis Cathedral, and finally take a stroll through Royal Street. Here are some ideas for day two: steep yourself in history at Oak Alley Plantation and then steep yourself in history at Laura Plantation: Louisiana's Creole Heritage Site.

Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.
On the 8th (Mon), explore the stunning scenery at Antelope Canyon, then take in breathtaking views at Lower Antelope Canyon, and then get great views at Horseshoe Bend. Keep things going the next day: explore the striking landscape of Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.
