Klamath is an unincorporated, rural, census-designated place in Del Norte County, California, situated on US Route 101 inland from the mouth of the Klamath River. You'll explore and learn at Yurok Country Visitor Center and End of the Trail Museum. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Wilson Creek Beach and Radar Station B-71. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Klamath: Arcata (Arcata Community Forest & Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary), Trinidad (Trinidad Harbor, Moonstone Beach, & more) and Hammond Trail (in McKinleyville). Spend the 3rd (Wed) exploring nature at Redwood National Park. There's still lots to do: contemplate the waterfront views at Klamath River, hike along Boy Scout Big Tree Trail, tour the pleasant surroundings at Trillium Falls Hike, and immerse yourself in nature at Alfred A Loeb State Park.

Expect a daytime high around 61°F in June, and nighttime lows around 50°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Fri) so you can travel back home.
