Family-friendly places like Arlington National Cemetery and Woodlawn & Pope-Leighey House will thrill your kids. Udvar-Hazy Center (in Chantilly), Manassas National Battlefield Park (in Manassas) and North Beach (in North Beach). There's much more to do: stop by Old Town, contemplate the long history of Fort Ward Museum and Park, pause for some photo ops at Pentagon Memorial, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Mount Vernon Trail.
