On the 10th (Tue), tour the pleasant surroundings at Cape Perpetua Visitor Center - Siuslaw National Forest, then stop by The Chocolate Frog, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Nye Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 11th (Wed): immerse yourself in nature at Devils Punchbowl State Natural Area, identify plant and animal life at Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area, and then snap pictures at Yaquina Bay Bridge.

Escape the urban bustle at Ecola State Park and Fort Clatsop National Memorial. Step off the beaten path and head to Astoria Column and Adelaide's Coffee and Sweet Shoppe. Take a break from Astoria with a short trip to Cannon Beach in Cannon Beach, about 44 minutes away.
