Pittsburgh

— 13 nights

City of Bridges

Known primarily for its steel-related heritage and 446 bridges, Pittsburgh sits at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Pittsburgh: Youngstown (The Butler Institute of American Art, Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, &more), Mill Run (Fallingwater & Bear Run Nature Reserve) and Mount Washington Tavern (in Farmington). There's lots more to do: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Washington, admire the masterpieces at The Andy Warhol Museum, appreciate the history behind Flight 93 National Memorial, and take an in-depth tour of Cathedral of Learning.
