Newark to Savannah is an approximately 4-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Traveling from Newark in April, expect Savannah to be somewhat warmer, temps between 77°F and 57°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Tue) so you can drive to Hilton Head.

Visit Fort Sumter National Monument and Drayton Hall for their historical value. Get in touch with nature at Dolphin & Whale Watching and Coligny Beach. Go for a jaunt from Hilton Head to Ravenel to see Caw Caw Interpretive Center about 1h 30 min away. Getting from Savannah to Hilton Head by car takes about an hour. Other options: take a bus. In April, daytime highs in Hilton Head are 74°F, while nighttime lows are 59°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Sat) so you can fly to Charlottesville.
