State College is a home rule municipality in Centre County in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Get outdoors at Leonard Harrison State Park and Colton Point State Park. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Allegheny Portage Railroad and Horseshoe Curve National Historic Landmark. Explore State College's surroundings by going to Wellsboro (Ole Covered Wagon Tours & Highland Chocolates), Bald Eagle State Park (in Howard) and Altoona (Boyer Candy Factory Outlet & Reighard's Gas Station - one of the oldest Gas Stations in America). There's still lots to do: take in breathtaking views at Pine Creek Gorge, take in nature's colorful creations at The Arboretum at Penn State, head outdoors with Mount Nittany, and admire the masterpieces at Palmer Museum of Art.
