Albuquerque remains one of the state's secret jewels, as its tourist attractions are often overshadowed by the more popular holiday destination of Santa Fe.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes American International Rattlesnake Museum as well as Capilla de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe. On the 3rd (Mon), get curious at The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, then contemplate the long history of Petroglyph National Monument, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Capilla de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe, and finally appreciate the extensive heritage of Albuquerque Old Town. Take a bus from Santa Fe to Albuquerque in an hour. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train. Traveling from Santa Fe in June, expect a bit warmer with lows of 64°F in Albuquerque. On the 5th (Wed), you'll travel back home.
