Bring the kids along to Trunk Bay Beach and Kayaking & Canoeing. Venture out of the city with trips to Hansen Bay Beach (in East End) and Salt Pond Bay (in Virgin Islands National Park). There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Maho Bay Beach, explore the activities along Leinster Bay, trek along Reef Bay Trail, and make a trip to Annaberg Sugar Plantation.

One of the most visited cruise ship destinations in the Caribbean, the town of Charlotte Amalie is known around the world for its duty-free jewelry, perfume, and liquor shops.
Family-friendly places like Magens Bay and Sapphire Beach will thrill your kids. Take a break from Charlotte Amalie with a short trip to Waterlemon Cay in Virgin Islands National Park, about 54 minutes away. There's still lots to do: get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Coral World Ocean Park, enjoy the sand and surf at Lindqvist Beach, take some stellar pictures from Mountain Top, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Coki Point Beach.

Ride a ferry from Cruz Bay to Charlotte Amalie in an hour. In July, plan for daily highs up to 90°F, and evening lows to 80°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 24th (Sat) to allow enough time to fly back home.
