Take a break from the city and head to Venice Beach and Boardwalk and Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary. Get a sense of the local culture at Getty Center The Publications and Griffith Observatory. When in Los Angeles, make a side trip to see Prime Desert Woodland Preserve in Lancaster, approximately 1h 15 min away.
