Explore Copper Harbor's surroundings by going to The Jampot (in Eagle Harbor), McLain State Park (in Hancock) and Mineral Museum of Michigan (in Houghton). Next up on the itinerary: identify plant and animal life at Estivant Pines Nature Sanctuary, take in the dramatic scenery at Eagle River Falls, and contemplate the waterfront views at Haven Waterfalls and Park.

Munising is a city on the southern shore of Lake Superior on the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. Step out of the city life by going to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and Seney National Wildlife Refuge. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Palms Book State Park and Chapel Rock and Beach. Change things up with a short trip to The Manistique Boardwalk and River Walk in Manistique (about 1h 05 min away). There's lots more to do: kick back and relax at Sand Point Beach, take in the dramatic scenery at Bridal Veil Falls, and get engrossed in the history at Pictured Rocks Interpretive Center.
