A genuine cowboy city, Cody is famous for its nightly rodeos and its proximity to the protected wilderness areas of the world's first national park, now designated as one of the country's World Heritage Sites.
Kick off your visit on the 15th (Sat): learn more about the world around you at Draper Natural History Museum. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 16th (Sun): admire the engineering at Buffalo Bill Dam, see the interesting displays at Cody Firearms Museum, and then get engrossed in the history at Buffalo Bill Center of the West.

Drive from Cody to Yellowstone National Park in 2.5 hours. Traveling from Cody in July, things will get a bit cooler in Yellowstone National Park: highs are around 73°F and lows about 40°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel to Moran.

Moran is an unincorporated community in south central Teton County, Wyoming, United States, which serves as one of the principal fee collection entrances to Grand Teton National Park. On the 21st (Fri), take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Grand Teton. On the 22nd (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: hike along Jenny Lake Trail and then explore the stunning scenery at Cascade Canyon.

Traveling from Yellowstone National Park in July, you will find days in Moran are somewhat warmer (79°F), and nights are about the same (45°F). The town of Jackson serves as a base for trips to the nearby Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, National Elk Refuge, and several ski resorts.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Horseback Riding Tours and Jackson Hole Rodeo Grounds. When in Jackson, make a side trip to see Fishing Charters & Tours in Driggs, approximately 54 minutes away. There's still lots to do: relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, make a trip to Town Square, and view the masterpieces at Mangelsen Images of Nature.

Getting from Moran to Jackson by car takes about an hour. In July in Jackson, expect temperatures between 79°F during the day and 45°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 26th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel back home.
