The Jackson Hole valley is approximately 97 km (60 mi) long and 24 km (15 mi) wide, encompassing the town of Jackson, Teton Village, and the northern section of Grand Teton National Park.
For shopping fun, head to Made or Teton Mountaineering. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Teton Raptor Center and Oxbow Bend Turnout, Grand Teton National Park. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Jackson Hole: 42-mile Scenic Loop Drive (in Grand Teton National Park) and Grand Targhee Ski Resort (in Alta). There's still lots to do: play a few rounds at Teton Pines Country Club and make a trip to Town Square.

Sioux City to Jackson Hole is an approximately 14.5-hour car ride. You can also fly. The time zone difference when traveling from Sioux City to Jackson Hole is minus 1 hour. Traveling from Sioux City in April, things will get a bit cooler in Jackson Hole: highs are around 50°F and lows about 26°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Cody.

A genuine cowboy city, Cody is famous for its nightly rodeos and its proximity to the protected wilderness areas of the world's first national park, now designated as one of the country's World Heritage Sites.
