Blue Mountain Lake — 1 night

Blue Mountain Lake is a rural hamlet in the Town of Indian Lake of Hamilton County, New York at the intersection of New York Routes 28 and 30. On the 8th (Sat), tour the pleasant surroundings at Castle Rock Trail, take an in-depth tour of Adirondack Experience, The Museum on Blue Mountain Lake, and then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Blue Mountain. Keep things going the next day: fly down the slopes at McCauley Mountain, take in the awesome beauty at Bald Mountain, and then steep yourself in history at Town of Webb Historic Association.

Lake Placid is a village in the Adirondack Mountains in Essex County, New York, United States. Get out of town with these interesting Lake Placid side-trips: Plattsburgh (Country Dreams Farm & Point Au Roches State Park) and Mace Chasm Farm (in Keeseville).
