Do some cultural sightseeing at Burritt on the Mountain and U.S. Space and Rocket Center. Get in touch with nature at Land Trust of North Alabama and Cathedral Caverns State Park. Go for a jaunt from Huntsville to Scottsboro to see Unclaimed Baggage Center about 46 minutes away. Orange Beach

Orange Beach exists solely as a tourist beach town, with a permanent population of less than 6,000.
Take a break from the city and head to Dolphin & Whale Watching and Gulf State Park. There's still lots to do: get interesting insight from Tours, meet the residents at Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, tee off at Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club, and stop by Rouses.
