With its strip malls and fast-food restaurants, Fairbanks appears a bit functional on first glance.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Wed): get a new perspective on nature at University of Alaska Museum of the North, examine the collection at Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum, then admire the natural beauty at Georgeson Botanical Garden, and finally see the interesting displays at Bouchard's International Dog Mushing and Sled Museum.
