You can do a combination of flight and ferry from Juneau to Ketchikan in 3 hours. Another option is to ride a ferry. In July in Ketchikan, expect temperatures between 21°C during the day and 14°C at night. On the 7th (Fri), you'll have the morning to explore before heading off to Homer.

Start off your visit on the 8th (Sat): examine the collection at Pratt Museum, then grab your bike and head to Homer Spit, and then head outdoors with Outdoor Activities.
