One of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the country, Tucson is a city on a cultural crossroads, with European, Native American, Mexican, and Asian residents blending and sometimes conflicting with one another.
Start off your visit on the 14th (Sat): learn more about the world around you at Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. On the 15th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: examine the collection at Pima Air & Space Museum and then explore the stunning scenery at Sabino Canyon.

Charlotte to Tucson is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and shuttle; or drive. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time to Mountain Standard Time, which is usually a -2 hour difference. When traveling from Charlotte in July, plan for a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Tucson: temperatures range from 97°F by day to 75°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 16th (Mon) early enough to drive to Sedona.

Despite its relatively small size, Sedona overflows with tourist appeal.
Step out of Sedona to go to Clarkdale and see Arizona Copper Art Museum, which is approximately 32 minutes away. There's lots more to do: take in the dramatic natural features at Cathedral Rock, take in the spiritual surroundings of Chapel of the Holy Cross, take a memorable drive along Red Rock Scenic Byway (SR 179), and soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers.

Traveling by car from Tucson to Sedona takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of shuttle, flight, and taxi; or do a combination of flight and taxi. Traveling from Tucson in July, things will get a bit cooler in Sedona: highs are around 92°F and lows about 69°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 19th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Grand Canyon National Park.

Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.
Start off your visit on the 25th (Wed): explore the stunning scenery at Lower Antelope Canyon, explore the stunning scenery at Antelope Canyon, and then get great views at Horseshoe Bend.
