Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.
Escape the urban bustle at Nature & Wildlife Tours and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Lake Powell and Rainbow Bridge National Monument. There's much more to do: see Off-Road Tours, take in breathtaking views at Antelope Canyon, take in the dramatic natural features at Horseshoe Bend, and enjoy some diversion at Gunfighter Canyon.

New York City to Page is an approximately 10-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 2 hours traveling from New York City to Page. Traveling from New York City in June, you will find days in Page are a bit warmer (96°F), and nights are about the same (69°F). Finish up your sightseeing early on the 5th (Fri) so you can go by car to Grand Canyon National Park.

When traveling from Page in June, plan for a bit cooler days in Grand Canyon National Park, with highs around 85°F, while nights are much colder with lows around 42°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Tue) so you can drive to Flagstaff.

Sitting at an elevation of 2,135 m (7,000 ft) and just a short trip from the Grand Canyon and other natural wonders, the city of Flagstaff attracts outdoor enthusiasts from around the world.
Step out of the city life by going to Red Rock State Park and West Fork Oak Creek Trail. Do some cultural sightseeing at Riordan Mansion State Historic Park and Amitabha Stupa & Peace Park. Get out of town with these interesting Flagstaff side-trips: Historic Old Town Cottonwood (in Cottonwood), Sedona (Broken Arrow Trail, Doe Mountain Trail, & more) and V-Bar-V Heritage Site (in Rimrock). On your second day here, immerse yourself in nature at Jerome State Historic Park, get engrossed in the history at Sharlot Hall Museum, and then ride a horse along Lynx Lake Recreation Area.

Getting from Flagstaff to Prescott by car takes about 2 hours. Other options: do a combination of bus and taxi. Plan for somewhat warmer temperatures traveling from Flagstaff in June, with highs in Prescott at 91°F and lows at 59°F. On the 16th (Tue), you'll travel back home.
