Mount Wolf to Asheville is an approximately 5-hour combination of car and flight. You can also drive. Traveling from Mount Wolf in February, expect Asheville to be somewhat warmer, temps between 53°F and 31°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 4th (Mon) so you can drive to Sapphire.

Sapphire — 3 nights

Sapphire is an unincorporated community in Transylvania County, North Carolina, United States. Kick off your visit on the 5th (Tue): stroll through Devil's Courthouse, surround yourself with nature on Miller's Land of Waterfall Tours, and then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Sassafras Mountain. On your second day here, admire the sheer force of Whitewater Falls, immerse yourself in nature at Gorges State Park, and then enjoy some diversion at Sapphire Sweet Shop & Gem Mine Village.
